I believe ceremony changes things.
Not in a dramatic way - though sometimes it does that too. In the quieter sense that gathering together, speaking words aloud, and bearing witness to a moment does something that ordinary days can’t.
It says: This matters. You matter. We’re here.
I came to celebrancy after years of facilitating gatherings, sitting with transitions, and watching what happens when people are truly seen and held in a meaningful moment. I know how it feels when ceremony lands - and I know how hollow it feels when it doesn’t.
That’s what drives everything I do.
What working with me looks like
It begins with a conversation. Unhurried, warm, and entirely about you. I want to understand your relationship, your people, your vision, and the feeling you want to carry away from the day.
From there, I write your ceremony from scratch. Every word chosen carefully. Every element considered. I’ll share a draft with you, we refine it together, and I arrive on the day ready to hold the space with calm, care, and genuine joy.
You don’t need to worry about a thing. That’s my job.
A little more about me
I live in West Sussex, close to the South Downs - a landscape that shapes the way I see everything. I spend time in nature, and have a long relationship with seasonal ceremony and the rhythms of the natural world.
That connection to the land, to transition, to the marking of time - it runs through everything I bring to your ceremony, even when it’s invisible.
When I'm not writing ceremonies, I can usually be found outdoors, walking with my dog or talking to the flowers and veggies on my allotment.
